Marvel released a new teaser for Deadpool and Wolverine’s buddy action movie on Super Bowl Sunday, which left us drooling. The conversation begins with the Merc with a Mouth insulting the adored, eternally grumpy X-Men hero in a back-and-forth exchange.
Disney claims that although the teaser trailer topped Spider-Man’s record as the most watched movie trailer ever, this one is bloodier, rancher, and contains spoilers for the plot.
This teaser movie introduces us to Cassandra Nova. She is a supervillain and Charles Xavier’s sister in the canonical X-Men.
The tune is set by Madonna’s 1989 hit song, “Like a Prayer”. Known as the “dark twin” of Professor X, she has a history of using her telepathy to cause mayhem. She uses Wolverine’s claws to hold him to the ground in one scenario.
