Freya Jensen commits to Iowa State Women’s Basketball Team

In the NCAA Tournament against Stanford, Jensen earned a berth in the second round after an hour, and the Iowa State women’s basketball team picked up a recruiting win. “I am thrilled to join the Cyclone family and contribute to their rich basketball tradition,” said Jensen, excited to begin his athletic journey with a new chapter.

The Iowa State women’s basketball program has gotten some fantastic talent from across the Atlantic to look forward to. 

Freya Jensen is from Denmark and entered the field with a height of 5-foot-11. Freya Jensen announced her plans to play for the Cyclones on social media on Sunday. He took an official visit to Iowa State in February. Jensen’s decision to commit to the Iowa State Cardinals and Gold following a visit to Ames’ campus shows his passion for the game and desire to play for a program like Iowa State, despite the geographical distance, made him a good choice.

All he needed to do to get to Ames was five flights.  During the trip, he heard much about the Iowa State fan base. During her official visit to Iowa State in February, Jensen was overwhelmed by the enthusiastic support of the Cyclones’ All-Stars. Freya Jensen is ready to join this enthusiastic committee and showcase her talents. Jensen will now be a part of it.
