Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar Announced To Step Down

The circumstances of the Irish political system are critical because of Prime Minister Leo Varadkar. After the Wednesday cabinet meeting, he opened his mouth and gave explosive news. In the press release outside of the entrance, the office of PM Varakar said he is leaving the ruling Fine Gael party very soon. But he remains in the post until his party holds the annual Taoiseach conference in the center of April.

People were surprised to hear he was resigning because it was beyond the expectations of the fans and the opposite party. He said I am leaving because of personal and political issues. I am not perfect for this job, and I spend a lot of time in political parties. When he joined the Irland political party in 2017, when he was 38 years old, he became the Youngest PM of Ireland and Fine Gael leader.

Now, at the age of 45, LEO VARADKAR was the youngest one who was ever selected for a highly praising post. He took his office for first in 2017 to 2020 and again in 2022. It was in his reign that he campaigned to legalize abortion in 2018 and homosexual marriages in 2015. When will the next general elections be held in Ireland? Now the question arises: if LEO VARADKAR resigns, who will be elected as a successor?

The possible answer to this can be the next General Elections. However, the government parties of Ireland have declared that they do not have any hope for the instant general elections, keeping in view Wednesday’s announcement. In 2020, Mr. Martin was appointed deputy prime minister with Leo Varadkar.
