N.Y. appeals court reduces Trump’s bond from $454m to $175m

The New York Appeals Court agreed to reduce the civil fraud bond and changed the decision to collect $454 million. The court reduced the former Trump’s civil fraud bond from $454m to $175m. This is a significant victory for Trump, as the court’s step back to the payment deadline also reduced civil fraud bonds.

New York Attorney General Letitia James claims that 175 million dollars is a small amount rather than $454 million. That’s why the strict order of the court, if he fails to collect the money, will be ready to seize his real estate. On the Truth social media platform, the former president posts that his legal team abides by the court order and pays the money in bond or cash.
