PALM SUNDAY & HOLY WEEK Source Of Wishing & Blessings

Palm Sunday is one of the major Christian festivals. The palm tree is a good energy source, and palms might live for over a century. This is evidence that palms may be included in the list of the oldest living trees on earth. In the Gospel of John, Christians believe the palm tree symbolizes conquest(victory).

People began to shout in Matthew (Fig of Bible): Hosanna to the son of David!  We bless you from the Palace of the Lord of the Lord. The city’s people welcomed Jesus with waved palm branches and placed palm leaves, and some spread their garments in front of Jesus. Palm Sunday, also called Passion Sunday, marks the start of Holy Week.

It is customary to celebrate Palm Sunday on the Sunday before. According to Christan Holy, the holy week is the most sacred week in the Christian year, which includes the birth & death of Jesus and the belief in Jesus’ resurrection on Easter. The tradition from the books of Figs is that Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey or a Young Horse. Two kinds of animals are mentioned in this tradition. In this festival, both meanings are different; the symbolism of the donkey refers to Eastern tradition that it is an animal of peace, unlike a horse, which is the animal of war. Christ’s entry symbolized his entry as the Prince(Son of God) of peace, not as a war King.
