WNBA Star Kelsey Plum and Darren Waller File For Divorce

American basketball player Kelsey Plum is popular.  Kelsey Plum is a professional player. A year after the meeting, in March 2023, Plumage, 29, and Wallages, 31, tied the knot. Both are separated from each other after a year. Online records indicate on Tuesday, a joint petition for a “summary decree of divorce” was filed with the Clark County District Court.

On social media, Plum posted, “I’m devastated.” “I saw it was time to go, yet I walked through fire for that man. God has given me an amazing and incredible life.  I am incredibly appreciative of the immense love of my family and friends.  My loved ones love me immensely.  I will tell my story someday, but not now.”

Plum, who won two WNBA championships with the Aces, started dating Waller when the latter was a player for the Raiders in Las Vegas.

Kelsey Plum was selected first overall in the WNBA draft seven years ago. At the Olympics in Tokyo, she won a gold medal. While playing for the Raiders 4 years ago, Waller was selected to the Pro Bowl. It is said that he is still undecided on whether to play football professionally in 2024 or retire.

Plum posted a statement on social media that seemed to confirm their breakup.

“I’m inconsolable. I saw it was time to depart, yet I walked through fire for that man,” Plum wrote.

She didn’t explain the reason for the divorce. The statement said, “Today is not the day I’ll share my experience. “Thank you for the grace to process my pain, forgive, and move forward.”

Last year in March, the two got married. According to court documents, the couple is childless.

Waller played for the Raiders for 5 years, spending the first three of those seasons in Las Vegas. He got chosen for the 2020 Pro Bowl.

His charitable foundation stays active in the Las Vegas community even after the organization moved him to the New York Giants in the previous offseason, a few days after the wedding.

In the 2017 WNBA Draft, Kelsey Plum was selected first overall by the San Antonio Stars. The next season, the team changed its name to the Aces after moving to Las Vegas.
